Great place to explore and enjoy. The food quality, explosion of different taste, presentation, story, and service experience was excellent. Strongly recommend place for Toscana lovers - we will come back.

Great restaurant with delicious food. The service was very professional and extremely nice.  One of the best places in Tuscany. We visited the place with my wife, and I am sure it is not the last time.

Friends had suggested we try this restaurant and we are very glad we did. The outside is absolutely enchanting. They were waiting for us outside and escorted us through a beautifully decorated room in the old world style, with beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. We descended downstairs into an ultra contemporary setting. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and had several offerings of superb, well-aged wine by the glass. We ordered the 12 course tasting menu, and I though maybe we would not have enough to eat, since the servings were so small. I was wrong, and by the time we reached out 7th course, I was already full. I am an advanced level Sommelier with a large appetite, so the ine selection and a goal of leaving with a full stomach are tops on my list! I particularly loved the presentation of the food, and especially the rosemary scented mist we received at the table, which I was not expecting. After the initial hors d&#39; oeuvres, The server poured hot and then cold water into the container of greens on the table. Immediately a dense mist came flowing out of the container, which was cool and rosemary scented. The mist rolled over our food, then quietly and gently dissipated. It was both beautiful and romantic, and a lovely way to start a fantastic meal. Some of the selections were a bit unusual, such as tongue, tripe, and squid innards, but they have other selections for a more traditional palate too. This is a must - do experience!

Nice dinner. Meat was experimental to a certain extend. Service was excellent. Loved the suggestions from the sommelier.

Menu was a little repetitive, for example of the eight courses - three of them were based on celery. Although one of our party was pescatarian - three of their &bdquo;fish&ldquo; dishes were mussel, oyster and squid - little too many invertebrates.Amuse-bouche was original, fabulous presentation and excellent.Equally desserts were wonderful.We had wine pairings but not too successful. We had to reject two (white) wines as they were just too old - two other whites were marginal. We had the impression that they were trying to clear old wine stock through the pairing process. Location a little odd with dining room in basement of a historic palazzo, which seemed a little rundown. Alas not the shabby chic the Brits get away with. Although we were met at the door - we would have been hard pressed to find the entrance - glasses full of used cigarette butts were our first impression. We probably would not return as we felt the attention to detail was not there for a fine dining / Michelin starred establishment.
